The Black Stove bar is the latest addition to nightlife in Carvoeiro. The brand new building turned music bar is the new kid on the block and is set to become one of the favourite bars in Carvoeiro with those looking for good music, good chat and good times.

The bar occupies a prime corner spot on Carvoeiro’s main drag. The circular interior is spacious and the décor is recognizably “Irish Bar” - a long wooden bar, plenty of tables, chairs and high stools dotted around, framed photos and some nice glass features. A large black stove holds pride of place in the centre of the bar and serves as a very original drinks table. There is a fantastic sun terrace on the first floor – perfect for people-watching and a cool drink or snack during the day, and a lovely water feature in the lower courtyard.

As befitting a music venue worthy of the name, there is live music every night at The Black Stove. There are regular bands as well as some guest acts over the season with a mix of both local and irish acts. The bar is rapidly becoming THE hot spot for live music. If sport is your thing then you’ll be happy here – all major sports events are shown, including GAA fixtures.

The Black Stove in Carvoeiro is wholly Irish owned and is the newest project from the team that brought you the immensely popular Black Stove in Alvor. Open from mid-morning on, you can enjoy a relaxing drink and some good pub grub during the day at the Black Stove, before gearing up for the night’s entertainment.

  black stove is awesome

  the black stove is an awesome bar with live music every single night of the week and always friendly staff to help. the only bad point is drinks are a bit pricey but you have entertainment which you dont pay for. the black stove is a great bar.
