Slide & Splash Overview

The name says it all – Slide and Splash is one of the leading Algarve attractions and should be on your list of things to do in Portugal. It's a a day of sliding down the Kamikaze or the Black Hole and splashing in the Olympic sized pool. The park is good for children of all ages, particularly excellent for the little ones.
With over 25,000m of grass areas there is plenty of room for everyone, even at the height of the season. If you’re not inclined to try the slides you can relax in the shade of a palm tree or enjoy a leisurely swim in the Olympic sized pool.
There are lots of slides to choose from – the more adventurous Kamikaze (hang onto your swimsuit!) and Bonzai (good for racing against a friend), to the slightly less daunting plunge pools and wide lane slides. The children´s area is great - 1200 m of fun. A water spitting dragon, elephant slides, tunnel slides and wide lane slides. In the kids area the water has a maximum height of 40 cms.
There are several kiosk selling snacks, ice creams and drinks and a self-service restaurant. There is a first aid post, just in case. The park is clean and well maintained, the maintenance managers are constantly circling the park checking on all the rides, which is very reassuring and each slide has its own lifeguards. You can hire out sun loungers, parasols and lockers if you wish.
Slide and Splash is great fun and great value and without doubt one of the best water parks around.

we have just recently been and it was brilliant. this time of year wasn't too busy at all which was a bonus as there was hardly any queing making it more enjoyable. theres a good variety of slides for the daring and the children would definately enjoy the pool activities. the admission price is fairly good, i suggest you take a nice picnic to enjoy on the grass in the sun as theres a bit of a wait for food and is a bit expensive particularly if there is a large family. the staff seemed nice and the weather just topped it off!

    AMAZING!

    Meg Jones from England

I have been to Portugal many times and we always go to Slide and Splash. It is amazing and provides a fun-packed day out for the family. My favourite slides are the Black Hole, Kamakaze Run and the slide where five people can go down it at once. If you are visiting Portugal, I highly recommend it!

    AMAZING!

I have been to Portugal many times and we all go to Slide and Splash. It will provide a fun-packed day out. You can take a picnic or buy food there. There are loads of slides and if you have small children with you, there is a shallow play area for them. My personal favourite slides are the Black Hole, Kamakaze Run and the slide where five people can go down at once. If you are visiting Portugal, I highly recommend going to Slide and Splash!

    Its very good....but

    Jason Marsden from UK

Been 3 times to slide and splash and think it is an excellent water park with a lot of different rides to keep adults and kids amused. Would recommend going but not in summer hols. Been twice in September and guess there were between 1000-2000 people which means you queue for up to 5-10 mins per ride tops. Went in August this year and estimate there were between 12000-150000 people......far far to busy to enjoy and only got on half the rides.

    Children loved the blackhole!!!

    Karen Balfor

We go to slide and splash every month. The children have a fantastic time. Its very reasonably priced and a cheap day out. I loved the blackhole I found it so funny, terrified!! but funny. I thought I was a child again!!! The staff are very friendly.
