Our 2008 Holiday
Pauline Partington from MerseysideI took my family to the Bayside as a last minute gift for Xmas, 1 week for my two grown up sone, my daughter and her boyfriend, and myself and my husband, I read all the reviews etc before traveling, and as this was such a bargain break from teletext I expexyed the worst. We arrived late saturdy evening around 10 pm there was no food available as we expected we had brought a few snacks with us, we did all go for a drink in the bar something i never usually do but it was so friendly and inviting, we had 3 rooms booked ,the kids 2 lower floor rooms, myself and my husband had 1 upper floor the rooms were clean tidy and the bedding and towels were clean, I was very impressed, the cleaners came in every day except Xmas day. the food in the hotel was excellent although a bit too expensive we did go to other places to eat aswell especiallt the chinese, there was good shops nearby, the staff were in the hotel were friendly and would do anything for you, they have interneet, a csh point and entertainments on most nights. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, there is security on site, the rooms all had an heater we all paid 50 euros deposit for the rooms, which we all got back. The golf course is round the back of the hotel, it was 4 euros to use the driving range and then you had the use of a practice course, we bought 5 tokens for 50 balls each and givena a free token they also have a lovely club house to drink in. the hotel has a free bus to albafeira 2 times a day going and once to return it was 8 euroes in a taxi back, there was a lovely cafe next door to apartments this was very cheap to eat and drink in, they couple who own it are lovely, beaches are clean and breathtaking, the views are amazing we are planning a return in February, I expect we will return many times in the future. Please don't take any notice of the bad reviews and go and see it for yourself.
