The new award winning motor racing circuit near Portimao or Autodromo do Algarve as its known locally, is where Algarve Racing brings you to enjoy international motor sports and to experience the adrenaline rush of a driving experience on the track.

The Autodromo circuit, inaugurated in 2008 is one of motor sports most spectacular. Taking full advantage of the undulating landscape, the views from pretty much all of the track are unrivalled. The track, the most modern in Europe, has quickly become a favourite with drivers and spectators alike and expects to host the full range of Grand Prix motor events, both bikes and cars.

  Since the race track had opened I had wanted to attend an event and just did not have the time. Then finally, one Sunday in November 2009 the opportunity was there. Me and my daughter Hollie (who is 8) were thoroughly looking forward to the experience, my wife Anna came along, `just for a look`. We were met by Nick who led us to their hospitality box which overlooks the start/finish straight and has a fantastic view into the pit lane too. We were just in time to catch the start of the next GT race and quickly found a seat outside. The noise was incredible, the lights went to green and they were off. It was exhileraating to watch the cars flying down the straight a then take the first corner, after about ten minutes Anna said she was ?loving every minute`, which certainly made my day as we were soon to be moving close to the Estoril race track in Cascais. Once the GT race was finished we then had a guided tour of the track. Getting close to the cars in the pits was an absolute bonus and seeing the Formula Renault cars start and hear the sound of their engines was again amazing. I will highly recommend a racing experience with Nick, Helen and the rest of the team at Algarve Racing. Their hospitality was excellent and the position of their private box is perfect for watching and experiencing what happens on a race day, both on the track and in the pits.

  VIP guests at the World Superbike Championships, 25th October, 2009 Excellent facilities, great tour of the grandstand and paddocks. Very welcoming. Hosts very attentive and catered for all our needs. The boxes provided one of the best views of the track, very comfortable and well equipped. We would highly recommend a visit, a great day out! Would love to go again!!

  Race Day Experience

  Great day spent taking in the action from the comfort of the Algarve Racing Info hospitality box. The box is in the main stand with a superb view in front of the start/finish straight and right in front of the grid! You can really soak up the race atmosphere and the VIP tour of the pit lane was a real bonus. Nick and Helen made super hosts and I would definitely recommend a day with Algarve Racing Info both for private groups or entertaining clients.

  I'm not a race fan at all, but I visited the track a few months ago with a group of friends. There was some major competition on and the atmosphere was fantastic, you could see nearly the whole of the track from where we were sitting. We had a great day out - it's really good even if your not a fan.
