my friend goes to the algarve alot and she said that these people were really good. her boyfriend knows somebody that went to them and now he doesnt need glasses or anything.
Its amazing that I am the first person to make any comment on laser surgery to my right eye. After surgery to that one eye I really had an issue with focusing and thought that the procedure had gone wrong. I had to wear different glasses for working at the PC and reading and in fact I had to pay for 2 sets of new lenses back in the UK. I then found an internet site that showed a comment from someone who was also long sighted like me and the person who had left the comment remarked on how it took a few months before the eye settled down and I seem to get the impression that this can be the case with long-sighted people. It was a worrying time for a few months but then everything worked out fine and then I only required glasses for reading or just use within an office. Other than that I did not require glasses when generally out and about or for driving. Unless it was for close work I was able to see better than I had done in many years. The surgery took place a couple of years ago and the right eye is still good but the left eye is now an issue and this evening 18/11/2008 I am emailing IQ-Med with details of an eye test carried out today in the UK to see if I am a candidate for laser treatment to my left eye. Despite my initial scepticism I am very satisfied with teh treatment and look forward to treatment on the other eye.
