Daly’s Irish Bar in Praia da Rocha is a real Irish bar. 100% Irish, owned and run, the bar hits all the right spots – great breakfast, great entertainment and great craic.
A night out in an Irish bar is usually a guarantee of a good night out. But beware of imitations. For a real Irish bar experience you’ve got to go to a REAL irish bar. Lynda, Kieran and Tommy, all from Donnybrook in Dublin have been running great bars for years so you can be sure of getting the real deal here.
The entertainment at Daly’s is fantastic. There are live bands to get the party going with Irish musicians flown in for the season. The drag show is a huge hit – people literally queue out the door to see the show – the highlight being the Amy Winehouse act. There is a hypnotist and a magic show and the wild Krazy Karaoke with Kieran himself. The atmosphere gets pretty lively, the volume rises and fun is what it’s all about.
Daly’s is open all day long and sets you up for the day with a genuine Irish breakfast, using home produce and with free refills on tea and coffee. Meals and snacks are served all day too – salads, sandwiches, pies, chicken and Irish beef. There are plenty of large screens dotted around the bar showing Sky, Setanta and all the sports channels, so that you can keep up with the latest sports events, including all the racing fixtures, in case you fancy a flutter.
Daly's tends to become a home from home for lots of visitors to Praia da Rocha. Its a great place to make some new friends. Kieran, Lynda,Tommy and their staff look after their customers very well, making sure they have good food, the odd drink and plenty of fun.
