Cocoshells Overview

Cocoshells is a fantastic jewellery and accessory shop located in the picturesque Algarve village of Praia da Luz. Bespoke designs, original and unique pieces are the hallmark of Cocoshells.

The owner, Nuno Tovar, originally from Lisbon, started out making and selling jewellery on the beach at Praia da Luz. Nuno’s materials of choice were close at hand and plentiful – coconut shells and sea shells. His original designs soon became so popular that in June 2007 Nuno decided to open Cocoshells. The shop has a huge selection of jewellery – bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings to suit all tastes.

The original designs and hand-made pieces are not the only selling point at Cocoshells. Nuno offers a bespoke jewellery service. You give him an idea of what you want and he will put it together for you. There is also a repair and rearrange service for clients.

Aside from Cocoshells original designs the shop also carries a complete range of accessories – lovely beaded evening bags, belts, even wind-chimes and hammocks! The prices are very reasonable. If you are looking to bring some presents home from the Algarve, then Cocoshells is the place to visit. And don’t forget, if you arrive home and decide that you really should have bought that last present, you can do so at the Cocoshells virtual shop. You can browse the catalogue and then contact Nuno to arrange delivery.

  Fantastic shop

  I loved this shop and went back twice for bargains for myself and friends. My mum waited outside the 2nd time as she didn't want to risk spending anymore money! There was so much choice and all at bargain prices, I'm waiting on the website starting up so I can buy online which is what the staff stated they were hoping to do. It's a must if you go to Praia da Luz.

  Perfect presents!

  This shop was full of really great jewellery that was really original and reasonably priced, too! I ended up buying something for myself, holiday gifts for my friends and even some Christmas presents! Sadly, the website dosen't work (I just tried to get onto it) I would highly reccomend this shop to everyone!
