Located in the impressive AlgarveShopping Centre, this 9 screen cinema has almost all of its´ films showing in English. You can check out their website to get up to date listings.

With films generally showing from midday onwards, you are sure to find something to watch whenever you turn up. It is located on top floor of the shopping centre, so is easy to find and has ample parking. There is also a huge food court with over 30 restaurants should you be feeling a little peckish before or after your chosen film.

It is easy to find, as it is right near the town of Guia. Whether you come off the A22 motorway or the EN125 road you cannot miss it!

  Useless website

  The website for Castello Lopes cinemas rates as one of the WORST I've used. All I wanted was cinema listings and times, and the most helpul thing I found was a phone number I used to call for the very information I expected on the site.....totally useless!!!!! I so did not need pretty photos, when all I want is info not provided. Take a leaf out of SBC site for how we want to web page to look.

  I enjoy´d the seatings, prices were very acceptable and we got the deal if you go again within 10 days, you get 2 tickets for the price of 1 which of course we did...Clothing was on sale and we had full attendance on staff lol Will def go again..

  Terrible Service Tues 9th December

  Me 2 Friends went to see Film 2012 12:40 show. The Cinema opened at 12:30 with one attendant for tickets and food.Small queue moving snail-like. By 13;20 I was still in the queue and we left without viewing. Disgusting, slow service We will not go again If there was a ')' star here I would use it!

  When ever i am in Portugal, I like to vist the Algarve Shopping cinema. The prices are excellent value for money(unlike England) The seat are set at an angle, so it does not matter if you have someone with a bighead in front of you, the screen will always be visiable. Also you can chose where you wish to sit, when you purchase your tickets. The seats are like big comfortable armchairs. It spoils you, as you can be assured that you are going to have a good evening, with decent seats etc.,

  i visited the cinema in algarve shopping, it was a brilliant deal, not only can you get various offers on popcorn drinks etc, but with your ticket for the films you get a 2 for 1 admission on your next visit, it does have an expiry date on the ticket so watch out. The films are in english with portuguese subtitles if the film is made in english. The staff are english speaking, if you struggle with the portuguese language, and always very friendly and helpful. Can i say a big thankyou to the staff, for making my visit to the cinema a very pleasureable one and the sweet popcorn was excellent.
