Beach Hut Watersports has been offering excellent water sports and boat trips since 1988. Located right on the beach in Praia de Luz their expertise and love of the sea guarantee fantastic outings for you and your family.

No visit to the Algarve would be complete without taking to the seas. The water is fantastically clear and teeming with marine life. The Algarve coastline is stunningly beautiful – long, sandy beaches dotted with unique rock formations and grottoes. The best way to appreciate it's beauty is by taking a boat trip along the coast. The team from Beach Hut Watersports run regular trips to explore the caves and grottoes and also all the way along the coast to the Western tip at Sagres.

The coastal waters of the Algarve are home to several species of dolphins and the dolphin Watching trips allow you to enjoy the beauty of these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. You can see the Common dolphin, the Bottlenose dolphin, the Rissos dolphin and the shy Harbor Porpoise, considered a vulnerable species. Beach Hut Watesports take you out on their fast, comfortable and eco-friendly RIBs (rigid inflatable boat). Aside from the dolphins you may see lots of different sea birds, sea turtles, sharks and even, on occasion, minke whales.

For sports enthusiasts, Beach Hut watersports organizes a wide range of activities – sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, kayaking and wake boarding. New for 2009 are the Jet Skis - fun and adrenaline guaranteed! The beach at Praia de Luz offers excellent conditions for watersports and the Beach Hut team have equipment to suit all levels of competence. They offer individual lessons and courses, for both children and adults. Their instructors are fully qualified, safety is always a priority and support boats are in constant radio contact with the Beach Hut centre. For some energetic fun and a good adrenaline rush you should try the inflatables – the Flyfish and Slyder are huge hits and the banana boat and ringos are hilarious.

One of the most sought after programmes run at Beach Hut is the Kids Day. This is a full day of activities for children aged 8 – 16 years. The day gives them the chance to make new friends and to experience plenty of new activities - Sailing, Windsurfing, Water Skiing, Kayaking, Banana rides, and much more. With lunch and beach games included, the kids have a fantastic day. They are accompanied by qualified instructors and all equipment, including wetsuits is provided.
