This small, but lively bar is situated on Estrada do Farol (the hill road leading out of the centre of Praia do Carvoeiro) and what it lacks in size, it certainly makes up for in atmosphere!

With a cool, Cuban theme, funky décor, chilled out tunes and a fine cocktail list, Bar Havana is a firm favourite with both holidaymakers and residents. Owners Craig and Jennie are very friendly and make everyone feel welcome, meaning that the bar is a real all rounder!

Open from 6:30 pm until late and with all cocktails priced at €4.75 each, Bar Havana is both fun and affordable – the right recipe for a brilliant night out! From 6:30 to 8 pm there is a 2 for 1 offer on cocktails, which is extremely popular, so get there early to make sure you don´t miss out!

Great Bar!

Great place for families - (11 of us), kids loved the fruit cocktails. We loved the stronger ones!. Craig & Jennie made us very welcome. Fab place! See you in 2008!

You must try Bar Havana

You must visit Bar Havana if you are staying in Carvoeiro. Craig and Jennie are perfect hosts and it is a great place to unwind at the end of the day.

From the EN125 turn off at Lagoa in the direction of Praia do Carvoeiro. Follow the one way system into the centre of the resort and the smal square, immediatley in front of the beach. Cross the square adn take the two way road leading up the hill (know locally as "restaurant hill"). Bar havana is approx. two thirds of the way up the hill on your right.
