3Wonders Overview

3Wonders Restaurant, Caffe Viena and Tapas Lounge in the Algarve town of Loulé has an original and definite vision – 3 distinct eating concepts within one physical space. Excellence in service, attention to detail and a breath-taking location complete the picture.

Tucked away in the hills of Loulé, behind the Algarve’s famed Golden Triangle, 3Wonders is a surprise. The first surprise is finding such a peaceful oasis just a stone’s throw from busy resorts such as Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago. The second surprise is the view across the hills and down to the coast. It is stunning and never fails to stir the heart of even the most weary traveller. Whether by day or dusk, the view from the spacious terrace is always new as the play of light across the landscape changes . The décor at 3Wonders is another pleasant sensory surprise. The predominant black is broken by splashes of orange and white, the lighting just right, complementing the black and white photos that adorn the walls.

There are 3 menus to choose from at 3Wonders, each specific to it particular concept. Throughout the day you can enjoy hot and cold tapas, accompanied by some wine or a chilled beer, as you enjoy the food and the view. For a different but very European experience , in the afternoons you have the 3Wonders Caffé Vienna – the best of an Austrian coffee house in the Algarve. Enjoy cappuccino and latte, Apple Strudel, Sacher Torte and Black Forest Gateau. Sip chilled champagne in summer, hot grog in the winter and treat yourself to home-made pancakes. There is a book lending library, games such as backgammon and magazines to read.

At night 3Wonders takes on its third incarnation – that of a quality restaurant with friendly yet impeccable service. The menu features 3 starters, 3 fish, 3 meat dishes, 3 specials and 3 desserts. All the dishes are beautifully presented. The care and attention to detail that is visible in the décor is also present in the food served. Quality produce, some original recipes and a dash of creativity ensure an excellent dining experience.

3Wonders is located just outside of Loulé, itself just a few kilometres from the town of Almancil and the resorts of Quinta do Lago, Vale de Lobo and Vilamoura.

3Wonders is open from 11am to 11pm during the summer months. In the Winter, 3Wonders opens at 3pm.

  Visited again last week and had yet another superb meal. Wonderful setting,service and hospitality. Seems a little out of the way but well worth the effort. The concept and food are excellent,can't wait to return. Thanks to all.

  Great value for money - and phantastic view over the Algarve

  Was on Friday again here for Dinner and it was again FANTASTIC! Hmmm, lecker - yummi! Very good the decoration, the food and the service, not talking about the view! And, you have to try the Kaiserschmarrn!!!! Had a look at the tapa menu (during day) and it sounds also very mouthwatering! Roland, hoffe, es gibt demnaechst wieder typisch oesterreichische "Klare" / Obstler :-)
